We are known for producing professional videos at a reasonable cost by treating each project individually. We’re successful because we keep our team of employees small, while working with some of the best independent talent in the area. Depending on our clients needs and budget, our shoots range from a small 3 person crew to a full twenty person team.

For over 30 years Nagy Films has worked with advertising agencies, federal, state and local governments, as well as corporations, non-profits, associations and public relations firms.

Joe Nagy came to Washington DC to direct for WTTG TV. Later he started Nagy Films, a full-service creative production company.. producing commercials, programs, corporate videos and motion pictures. Currently he is preparing to direct a feature length film set to shoot this spring.

Joe has given direction to many celebrities including: Bill Cosby, Jerry Lewis, Frankie Avalon, James Brown, Sugar Ray Leonard, B.B. King, John Denver, Barbara Mandrell, Jim Brown, Muhammad Ali, Joe Fraser, Maury Povich, Connie Chung, Ross Perot, President’s Carter, Reagan and Bush.

In the course of his career, he or his projects, have received numerous awards such as…the Emmy, Addy, Telly, Clio, Houston Film Festival Award, Ohio State Award, Monitor Award, Crystal Award of Excellence, US Television Commercials Festival, American Film and Video Festival, and U.S. Industrial Film Festival.

Matthew Nagy

Matthew Nagy

Matthew has over 15 years of experience in the video and film industry. He has produced and directed a wide variety of award winning programs, corporate image films, marketing videos and TV commercials.

His awards include: 7 Telly’s and 3 Videographer Awards for his creative, production and camera expertise. Growing up on the set as a child actor and production assistant, he was mentored by some of the best crew and talent in the area.

Matt has produced beautiful pictures from Costa Rica to his most recent travel show, “Experience Italy.”

He recently worked as a producer on the feature film “Lovely Molly.” Currently, he developed and co-wrote a screenplay based on a true story which will be made into a feature film. Matt is a native Washingtonian and is an avid outdoorsman.
